I am getting wrong times. What should I do?
The following four items are important in getting accurate times:
- Time Zone
- Make sure your timezone is set correctly in the General Tab. A list of timezones can be found here.
- Daylight Saving
- By default, the daylight saving information is retrieved from your operating system. If it is not correct, set it manually in the General Tab.
- Location
- Make sure your location is set correctly. (You can find the latitude/longitude of your location via this page and enter them manually.)
- Calculation Method
- Choose a proper calculation method and/or adjust calculations parameters in the Calculations Tab.
Troubleshooting
Why I can't hear the adhan sound?
Troubleshooting steps:
- Check if Flash Player is installed on your browser (you can use this test page).
- Enable "automatic adhan play" option in Sound and Alerts Tab.
- Make sure you have selected a suitable mp3 file, say from this list.
Note: Flash Player is only able to play mp3 files whose sample rates are multiples of 11.025 KHz. All mp3 files in our adhan audio page are compatible with Flash Player.
