This is a brief list of frequently asked questions. Please feel free to contact us if your question is not answered here.

• I am getting wrong times. What should I do?

Check if the following four items are set correctly in the Options menu: Location, Time Zone, Daylight Saving, and Calculation Method. To figure out which item needs adjustment, see our Time Troubleshooting page.

• Why I can't hear the adhan sound?

Make sure the "Automatic adhan play" option is enabled in the Sound and Alerts Tab. For more details, see our Sound Troubleshooting page.

• None of the calculation mthods provided works for our area. Any idea?

Check with a local Islamic center in your area to see what parameters they are using for calculating prayer time. You can then enter those parameters manually in the Calculations Tab.

• Does this add-on work when I am offline?

Yes. Pray Times always displays correct prayer times even if there is no connection to the Internet. You need Internet connection only when you want to set a new location.

• The Hijri date shown is not correct. Any solution?

Hijri date is calculated using a local algorithm. However, you have an option to adjust it by +/-2 days in the Advanced Tab.

• How to uninstall the add-on?

Like any other add-on, you simply need to go to the browser's Tools > Add-ons menu, select the target add-on, and press "Uninstall".
