Sound Troubleshooting

If you cannot hear the adhan sound properly, this page helps you to figure out the problem.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  • Make sure "automatic adhan play" option is enabled in Sound and Alerts Tab.
  • Check if Flash Player plugin is installed on your browser (you can use this test page).
  • Make sure no other Firefox add-on, like flashblock, has blocked the Flash Player.
  • Make sure you have selected a suitable mp3 file, say from this list.
Note: Flash Player is only able to play mp3 files whose sample rates are multiples of 11.025 KHz. All mp3 files in our adhan audio page are compatible with Flash Player.
